Terms of Use

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and participation in our raffle.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Ticket Purchase

To enter the raffle, you must purchase a ticket for £1.
You may purchase multiple tickets subject to availability.
Tickets are non-refundable once purchased unless the raffle is canceled.

3. Payment

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Stripe is a world leader in processing payments, more information on Stripe can be found at: https://stripe.com/gb. Stripe accepts all major credit cards, as well as Apple and Google Pay.
If payment fails, your raffle entry will not be processed.

4. Prize Details

The raffle prizes are listed on our website homepage and are subject to availability.
Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives are offered.

5. Entry Restrictions

You must be 18 years or older to enter the raffle.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information. We are not responsible for any failure to deliver a prize due to inaccurate contact details.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected via a random draw and announced at the raffle event.
We will notify winners by email within 24 hours of the draw. If the winner does not claim the prize within 30 days, the prize may be forfeited.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

If the raffle is canceled for any reason, all participants will receive a full refund.
Tickets are otherwise non-refundable unless exceptional circumstances apply.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for any technical issues, lost or delayed entries, or any other issues beyond our control.
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

CLACA holds a valid lottery licence which is issued by Portsmouth City Council and the Gambling Commission. The Small Society Lottery licence reference for Court Lane Academies Community Association (CLACA) is 24/03616/GALOTT.

Raffle Rules

1. Organiser

This raffle is organised by CLACA, a registered charity in the United Kingdom. Charity number 1162322. Charity address Court Lane Infant and Court Lane Junior School, Hilary Avenue, Cosham, Portsmouth, PO6 2PP. If you have any queries, please contact us at contact@claca.co.uk.

2. Eligibility

Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
The raffle is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
CLACA trustees and their immediate family members are not eligible to purchase tickets.

3. Raffle Entry

Tickets are priced at £1 per ticket.
Each ticket provides a single entry into the raffle.
There is no maximum number of tickets an individual can purchase, subject to availability.
All entries must be received by 12th Dec 24 at 16:30, after which the raffle will be closed.
If for any reason you are unable to pay online, please contact us to discuss alternative payment methods, such as cash payments on the day of the raffle event.

4. Prize Draw

The raffle draw will take place on 12th December 2024 at 16:30 at the Christmas Fayre.
The draw will be conducted randomly using a random number generator with the ticket numbers that have been purchased, overseen by CLACA. For more detail on how a winner is drawn, please contact us at contact@claca.co.uk.
Winners will be announced during the event and will be notified via email.
If you cannot attend the draw in person, you will still be eligible to win, and your prize will be reserved for collection or delivery.

5. Prizes

The prizes for the raffle can be found on the website homepage.
Prizes will be available to collect at the Christmas Fayre after the prize draw.
If you are unable to collect your prize at the Christmas Fayre, we will be in touch with how to claim your prize. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the winner being notified.
If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within this time, the prize may be forfeited, and a new winner may be drawn.
No cash alternative is available, and prizes are non-transferable.

6. Refunds

Once a raffle ticket has been purchased, refunds are not available except in exceptional circumstances. If the raffle is cancelled or postponed, all participants will be refunded in full.

7. Liability

CLACA is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that occurs as a result of entering the raffle, accepting or using a prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Governing Law

These rules are subject to the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising will be dealt with in the jurisdiction of English courts.
